Chalice Arts Music Music courses are offered in 19th and 20th century music history, philosophy and psychology, exploring the fascinating world of the creative mind of the composer. This musical journey, Romantic in its origins, blossomed in the 20th century as composers and musicians linked with their natural landscapes to give us artworks as diverse as Respighi’s celebrations of Rome, Sibelius‘s evocations of the far North of Scandinavia and Vaughan Williams pictures of the Romantic English Countryside. Come and join me on a tour of the landscapes of the Earth in all their variety and wonder. Suitable for all levels of knowledge and especially those with an open mind. One-day workshops take place once a month in Glastonbury on Saturdays and run from 10am to 4 pm, with a break between 12.30 and 1.30pm for lunch. Please telephone 01458 831612 for information sheets and further information. Course fees are £35 for the day. Please fill out the booking form and make cheques payable to Chalice Arts.
